3 quick Klaviyo wins to improve your revenue
Hey there,
I audited 2 large accounts yesterday.
Neither of them were doing these 3 money makers/cost-savers inside their Klaviyo account:
Excluded profiles who have previously marked as spam
When sending campaigns, Klaviyo does NOT automatically remove people who have marked your email as spam before.
So create this segment, and exclude it from all your campaigns.
Your deliverability will thank you.
Add non-promotional text to the bottom of your footer.
This will instantly improve your ability to land in the inbox.
Head to ChatGPT, feed it your About Us section, Privacy Policy, and any other basic info.
Ask it to generate you some non promotional deliverability text for your email marketing footer.
This will reduce how much your email is considered to be “marketing” in the eyes of gmail/yahoo etc.
Include Random Samples Of Your Unengaged Segment From Time to Time
Once someone is unengaged, we shouldn’t just forget about them completely.
If we are sending to our Engaged 90 day segment, we then also want to find ways to slowly try and reengage people who are not part of that segment.
When you’re sending either:
A. A really valuable campaign, or
B. A really good offer/discount
Consider creating a random sample of your unengaged segment (a small one like 5-10%) and including them into your segments for the campaign.
Over time, slowly but surely, people will open emails and you’ll win back some lost subscribers.
Do this until they hit a level of unengagement (1 year) that means that they head into the Sunset Flow.
