Pop up form idea

Use this in BFCM

Hey there,

In the lead-up to Black Friday I’ve been analysing winning strategies from the past years, while also brainstorming some creative ways to switch this up.

I’ve come up with a solid pop-up form idea that I think will be killer for this year’s BFCM period.

Why? Because you can’t just run the same pop-up form obviously, unless you have the margins to do this on TOP of your Black Friday discounts.

The Pop-up form offers that are doing the best right now are:

  • Mystery discount

  • $ OFF

So a combination of this would be…

Every 1 in 100 people wins a $50-$100 voucher, while everyone else gets sent a smaller voucher like $5.

And you can set this up easily right inside Klaviyo.

Your Pop-Up form would say something like:

“MYSTERY BFCM VOUCHER - EVERYONE WINS”

And you can even show this to EVERYONE, including previous traffic if you like.

Then you simply have a welcome flow with some conditional splits.

First split:

  • If someone has placed an order before, send them an email with a $5 off code or something

  • If someone is a new customer, then have a random sample split of 99%.

  • For 99% of people, send them the $5-10 voucher

  • For 1% of people, send them a banger like $50-100.

And you can split this up as randomly as you like by just using random sample splits.
