In Klaviyo for 15 HOURS!?!?

Hey there,

Last week, I was on a call with a brand owner providing a free audit.

In my process, I inquire about their current email marketing setup.

You will not believe what they told me…

This is a brand owner, of an Ecom Store doing 7-figures per year in revenue.

They have 1 trillion things to do daily, like any ecom store owner.

And they were spending 15 HOURS per week in Klaviyo.

Many people don’t know but I also have a background in finance/accounting, so sometimes this side of my brain comes into play subconsciously.

I asked them what their hourly rate is.

Based on their profit margins, it works out to be about $120 per hour.

15 hours per week… 60 hours PER MONTH.

That is $7200 worth of their time at $120 per hour.

I told this particular brand owner that they were silly for not outsourcing their email marketing (in the nicest way possible).

Brand owners who fail to outsource speciality skills often hit plateaus and struggle to scale.

Because if they spend 10-15 hours per week in Klaviyo, the same in ads, and the same on social media, that is their ENTIRE week gone.

They haven’t even looked at product development, overall strategy, managed any of their team…

The moral of the story is, that when it comes to outsourcing something in your business sometimes you need to look at it from a time ROI.

EVEN if outsourcing does not improve your results (and with the right agency it certainly should improve your results) you’ll buy back a ton of your time and be more likely to move your company forward.
